The origin of the vampire species, very little is known about Aisen, other than his ability to control the power known as the Genesis.

It is widely accepted that Aisen was once human, and that it was the Genesis–at least in part–that invoked the change in him and woke the hunger for blood.

Aisen is considered ‘father’ to the Trine, the only people Aisen turned himself, and he has been dead for the better part of a millennia.
