Attilla is the Clan leader. He is one of the most revered vampires in the city, although he insists on receiving no special treatment. Some assume this kind of assumed reverence is because he is second blood.

He leads the Clan diplomatically, but when it comes to matters of the heart, his judgement can become clouded.

Despite vampirism taking away aspects of his humanity, Attilla maintains religious beliefs. His part in leading the Clan to feed without needing to kill their victims is his attempt to spare his soul from damnation.

He is constantly at ends with himself with his own morals regarding Slayers; whether to act righteously (within the eyes of the law, and God) or to respond to a more primal instinct of ‘kill or be killed’.
