Vampires who were turned by the Trine are known as First Blood.

Because the bloodline is direct to the creator’s source, First Blood are considered to be some of the strongest vampires after the Trine, with power rivalling and in some cases besting that of a NuGen vampire.

Since the Trine survive to the present day, there is no way of telling how many First Blood vampires exist in the world.

Vampires turned by First Blood are considered Second Blood (such as Attilla), those turned by Second are Third, and so on and so forth. With the resources, a fledgling vampire could trace their lineage back to which member of the Trine they were essentially turned by (This is not to be confused with NuGen vampires, where the connection is genetic instead of / as well as carried).
